Christmas Break (which includes Josh's wedding, Grandpa Rogers funeral, and cabin fun)

Christmas Break (which includes Josh's wedding, Grandpa Rogers funeral, and cabin fun)

To say we had an adventurous Christmas break is an understatement. We knew it would be busy with Josh and Makayla's wedding but weren't expecting it to be as busy as it ended up. A couple days before we left to Idaho for the wedding we got the phone call that Grandpa Rogers had passed away. He was 95 and so ready to be with his wife again, so it was a bitter sweet thing for sure. I am so grateful I got to know and love him. And we will always cherish the sweet moments he shared with GraceLynn.

My parents bought GraceLynn the cutest little sled and she loves it, and got good use out of it in the Idaho snow.

Triston spoiled her and made her a sledding hill on the back deck.

And she didn't love Santa, but everyone needs a picture with Santa.

But she loves the gift he gave her!

Our best family friends/ next door neighbors moved this summer. :( But we all got together since everyone was home for Chirstmas. All these babies are super close in age and are so fun to watch grow up, and I sure love their momma's.

Pappa Terri came for a quick visit right after Christmas.

AZ Thanksgiving 2016

Thanksgiving 2016- AZ style

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving in AZ. As always it was a week of food, fun, and family. The best kind!

We are always nervous for the drive with our car seat/car hater, but she usually does better than we expect.

We were excited to show GraceLynn all the animals at Papa Terril's. She loves animals and wanted to touch them all. With the exception of Titan who is the large and slobbery mastiff.

GraceLynn loves cheese balls just like her dad.

This visit will always be one we remember. Little did we know that this would be our last visit with Grandpa Rogers here on earth. We are so lucky to have known him and know he is much happier in heaven.

Papa Terril made this high chair and its what Triston and his siblings used and all the grandkids. We had to use a belt to try and keep her down. As you can see it didn't work.

We played some fun games thanks to Tiana.

As usual GraceLynn got lots of attention from her cousins. Its so fun to watch them all play together.

This year we also helped with the annual butchering. And it was my fist, and what an experience it was.

We also took some family pictures. With the addition of McCoy and GraceLynn it was much needed.

The Rogers
