Aunt Shay Shay graduated/ Show and Tell

In May Aunt Shayla also graduated. So as you can tell we have been to a lot of graduations this year. And mine (Rachael) in July will be the last of 5 we have gone to.

Anyways Shayla graduated at the end of May. We loved being able to go to Idaho for that. We are so excited for Shayla, she has worked so hard and graduated high honors. With dads new job he got to actually hand her the diploma. Her graduation was the shortest of all we have been to so far.

Way to go aunt Shay, and good luck at BYUI!!

About a week before we went to Idaho my mom sent this picture:

Its of Trevin's desk at school with a picture of GraceLynn. I asked if anyone else had pictures and she said no. So I later called Trevin and he told me that GraceLynn is their team mascot. I guess that group of desks is his team and they won their competition like 3 weeks in a row. So they said she is their good luck charm. Isn't that the cutest??

So Trevin wanted us to bring GraceLynn into his class so the kids could all meet the mascot in real life. And so of course Brinlee wanted her to come in for show and tell as well. It was so cute to see Aunt Brinlee and Uncle Trevin show of GraceLynn. They told their classes how old she was and her birth date and that she likes to suck on her toes. It was so fun!

My mom got us ticket to the Josh Turner concert. It was fun to get a night out with the girls!

GraceLynn got to stay with the boys at home, but she wasn't mad.

GraceLynn's First AZ Trip

GraceLynn's First AZ Trip

Triston's sister Tashina graduated from nursing school in May. We decided to fly rather than driving 9 hours with our 4 month old. So she got to go on her first airplane ride. Being a new mom and taking a newborn on an airplane made me super nervous but we just went prepared and she did awesome!! She fell asleep on take off and slept the short 1 hour flight.

GraceLynn also got to meet her great grandpa Rogers for the first time. He is 95 years old and one of our favorite people. She had so much to tell him and just talked the whole time. She gave him lots of smiles !

Tiana had the cute idea of making shirts for the her kids and GraceLynn for Tashina's graduation. So Aunt Shayla made the cutest shirts. We planned on having the kids wear them to the pinning ceremony but of course GraceLynn had a major blow out in the parking lot on the way in. So we had to wash her shirt and they wore them to her graduation the next day. We are proud of Shina and her hard work in becoming a nurse.
This is the outfit she wore after the blow out. And of course mom forgot her spare pants..

Man she has cute nieces and nephew. The shirts said "Aunt Shina is hot, single, and now a Nurse" and the back said #singleshina.

GraceLynn loved going to Gpa Terrils house and meeting all the animals. Well mostly she loved being outside. She didn't pay too much attention to the cows, dogs, chickens, sheep, and turkey. But I am sure as she gets older she will be as excited as mom is. She also got to spend lots of time with her favorite cousins (her only cousins) and they loved holding her. Don't worry we were close when they held her.

We also got to go to our oldest niece Kali Rae's dance recital. Every year when its time for her recital I always wish we can go. So this year we were so excited. And GraceLynn loved it. She loved the colors and the music and the dancing, safe to say in a couple years that will be her. Kali did so good and we were so proud of her! Dancing is totally one of her talents and I can't wait to watch her continue to dance.

It was a great trip and we loved seeing family and introducing GraceLynn to AZ.

GraceLynn's Blessing

April 23rd- GraceLynn's Blessing Day

The Saturday after Triston graduated we blessed GraceLynn. It was the perfect time since we had all our family in town. We had it at our church and had a little luncheon after. It was the perfect morning and Triston gave the most beautiful blessing. I am so grateful for the priesthood and the blessing that GraceLynn received.

Triston's a BYU Graduate!

Triston Rogers BYU Grad!!

In April we were so excited to celebrate Triston graduation from BYU. He worked so hard. His degree is in Athletic Training. We had lots of family travel here to support him. At the last minute he decided to carry GraceLynn when he walked across the stage. It was cool to represent how busy he was his last semester with school, and welcoming a new baby. During the two years that Triston was in the Athletic Training program he worked, had his 20 hour clinical, and was an amazing father and husband. We are so proud of his accomplishments. Now on the PA school!!
