GraceLynn's First AZ Trip

GraceLynn's First AZ Trip

Triston's sister Tashina graduated from nursing school in May. We decided to fly rather than driving 9 hours with our 4 month old. So she got to go on her first airplane ride. Being a new mom and taking a newborn on an airplane made me super nervous but we just went prepared and she did awesome!! She fell asleep on take off and slept the short 1 hour flight.

GraceLynn also got to meet her great grandpa Rogers for the first time. He is 95 years old and one of our favorite people. She had so much to tell him and just talked the whole time. She gave him lots of smiles !

Tiana had the cute idea of making shirts for the her kids and GraceLynn for Tashina's graduation. So Aunt Shayla made the cutest shirts. We planned on having the kids wear them to the pinning ceremony but of course GraceLynn had a major blow out in the parking lot on the way in. So we had to wash her shirt and they wore them to her graduation the next day. We are proud of Shina and her hard work in becoming a nurse.
This is the outfit she wore after the blow out. And of course mom forgot her spare pants..

Man she has cute nieces and nephew. The shirts said "Aunt Shina is hot, single, and now a Nurse" and the back said #singleshina.

GraceLynn loved going to Gpa Terrils house and meeting all the animals. Well mostly she loved being outside. She didn't pay too much attention to the cows, dogs, chickens, sheep, and turkey. But I am sure as she gets older she will be as excited as mom is. She also got to spend lots of time with her favorite cousins (her only cousins) and they loved holding her. Don't worry we were close when they held her.

We also got to go to our oldest niece Kali Rae's dance recital. Every year when its time for her recital I always wish we can go. So this year we were so excited. And GraceLynn loved it. She loved the colors and the music and the dancing, safe to say in a couple years that will be her. Kali did so good and we were so proud of her! Dancing is totally one of her talents and I can't wait to watch her continue to dance.

It was a great trip and we loved seeing family and introducing GraceLynn to AZ.

Love,
The Rogers
