Broken Roads?

Triston and I are excited to start our family blog. We both have family in so many different states,  we thought it would be fun to blog so that we could keep everyone updated on our lives. And someday when we have kids we can show them our blog.

First you might ask why did they name their blog "Broken Roads" and honestly I would probably ask the same question if I read that on someone's blog. So here is why. When Triston and I were dating he randomly asked me what my favorite song was. Although I thought it was random he sure had a plan for knowing. Right off I said Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts.

When Triston proposed (details in another post) we danced to this song. And have had many conversations about how in our lives God has blessed our broken roads. And times we have been upset when things haven't worked out the way we would have planned. But as we look back at the big picture we realize that God has had his hand in our lives every step of the way.

This will be a journal of our broken roads. Our good and bad times. And mostly just the crazy adventures.
